Beautiful Carefree doesn't have to try hard to attract visitors, but this festival draws collectors and art-lovers from all over the country. Over 180 artists and craftspeople display upwards of 5,000 pieces that run the gamut of art media; painting, photography, sculpture, and textiles are just a smattering of what you'll find. Additionally, Arizona's largest wine tasting keeps spirits high, and area restaurants serve tasty nibbles. The downtown setting means that visitors can explore Carefree's eclectic selection of shops, too.
